Mankanhaiya Eye Bank

The Mankanhaiya Eye Bank is one of the first few private Eyw Banks of Maharashtra. The graph of number of eye donations has been showing step wise every year, since its inception on 10th June 1995. We have been successful in creating awareness and inspiring people to donate eyes not only in district of Ahmednagar but also in state of Maharashtra. We performed respectable numbers of corneal transplants.

The graph is rising every year. There had been an incidence where 10 corneal trans plants were performed in one day. The families of the donors are feliciated by president od all India ophthalmological society every year and some of the recipients share their stories and thank the donors family.
